Nine-Eleven. I don't think any two words can strike the amount of emotion that those two are able to. Ten years ago our lives were changed, our country was changed. This day will go has gone down in history as the biggest attack on American grounds.
We've heard stories about WW2 or the Titanic, but this is a part of history that we tell stories about, because we were here and it effected us. Can you remember what you were doing on that day? Can you remember the fear that pulsed through America. The agony.
I was a first grader, only 6 years old.
I remember we weren't allowed to go out for recess for months.
I remember I couldn't sleep well at night anymore, & I had nightmares.
I remember that my sister and I felt sad for the little kids
whose parents died, so we went around the neighborhood and
gathered hundreds of stuffed animals to send to them.
I didn't understand it all back then. But I knew everyone was sad,
and I knew things were different.
There are millions of stories to be told about that day. About the emotions that were felt or the actions that were taken. What do you remember about that day? The day that changed everything.
If you feel in the mood to be touched to the point of tears,
