welcome students.

After going to college day I felt like I seriously needed to re-evaluate my life. High school is not a place to have fun, it is a place to prepare (your resume) for college. Your motivation to be a part of clubs or do service should definitely not be to have fun or to be a good person. It should be to get into college. Or, possibly to get a scholarship. (But unless you've got a really, really, really great sob story to go along with your personal essay or you're a different race, don't get your hopes up.) So, with that being said, here is the resume a person will need to be able to get into the college they want:

Advanced Intermediate Excelled Gifted Band
Sterling Scholar for science, drama, music, social studies, and everything else.
Clubs: HOSA, DECA, FCCLA, FFA, LIA, FJKDL, IEKC, IEEI, FIENV, VDILA, ETC.
Student Body President (5 years)
Student Body Vice President (5 years)
Student Body Secretary (5 years)
Varsity Tennis Captain (4 years)
Varsity Soccer Captain (4 years)
Varsity Volleyball Captain (4 years)
Varsity Basketball Captain (4 years)
Varsity Track Captain (4 years)
Homecoming Queen and King 8 years running
Single handedly built a school for blind, dyslexic orphans in Africa
Found the cure for cancer and donated it to people everywhere

Solved the American obesity problem
Taught a seminar to the devil and converted him to the church
At night I read to the homosexuals of Honduras
Founded the Red Cross

ACT Score: 48

With that resume, you might possibly get onto the BYU waiting list.
