Even though calling it twenty-eleven never caught on, despite my best efforts, I'm going to try again this year with twenty-twelve. I've already heard it mentioned as twenty-twelve twice on the news, so I'm thinking we're off to a good start.
Like a first date, I feel like there is an unnecessary amount of pressure that I'm placing into writing my first post of the whole year. Especially because I didn't put together a montage of pictures that reminisce my 2011 year. Maybe next year.
All of these people making new years resolutions are really cramping my style. The gym and temple are both crowded. Hopefully by next week it will be better once everyone has gotten bored of their self-improvement goals. Because, in all honesty that's what new years resolutions are; to-do lists for the month of January.
2011 was the best year I've had so far, and hopefully I'll be able to say that about 2012 and every year for the rest of my life. And hopefully you can say that too! Happy new year.
