I am admittedly a very superstitious person.
I avoid black cats
go out of my way to avoid walking underneath a ladder,
think that broken mirrors are evil.
I wish on every railroad track,
11:11,
tunnel I drive through (while honking)
and star I see.
So while I was chanting the childhood ryhme; "star light, star bright, first star I see tonight. I wish I may, I wish I might, have this wish I wish tonight I wish...." and I began to wish.
And that's when I realized; that sentence has way too many I's in it. It is so incredibly selfish. So here is my challenge: for the next week instead of wishing for something you don't have, give thanks for something you do.
