believe in America.

Utah County was a hippity hoppity place two nights ago. As many are aware, it is BYU football's first game was this very night. I had multiple friends decked out from head to toe in cougar-wear in support of their favorite college team. It was the hot thing to talk about all day long.

However, though I am a fan of this wonderful university and I hope to one day be a student there, I was not aware we had a game until I went to school. I myself was excited for the National Republican Convention. Which I watched...live and in full-screen mode on my computer. So while the majority of the people my age cheered along with cool people at the game, I cheered for Mitt Romney while he gave his speech and I watched the camera people scan the audience. The audience consisted of cowboys, mustached old men and every American over sixty-five years old. I don't fit into any of those categories but I was still enthusiastic about his speech.

And please, listen to it. It's great. (For all my fellow Mormons out there: I'm pretty sure Mitt made several near Book of Mormon references in his speech. Namely; 'If you had at once felt the burning, I ask, can ye feel so now?' from Alma. Only he said, 'If you were once excited about voting for Obama, I ask, can you feel that now?' -by the way, I'm paraphrasing- But I'm not making this up, check it out.)

It's been said that Romney is a bit of a robot-and I agree-but he's the nice kind, so it's okay.
