I've been living under a rock apparently. But I just discovered this fantastic new website called Pandora-it is so awesome! It nearly has a brain. It always is playing my favorite songs even when I haven't told the website I liked them. I adore it, but it also kind of creeps me out.
I have a completely rational fear of our world being taken over by know-it-all robots. Kind of like a combination of both of these scary movies:

"Eagle Eye" and "Wall-E"
Those movies strike fear into my heart. Computers these days know more than people. It freaks me out when I go to the self-checkout line at Walmart and the computer talks to me. I don't like it was inanimate objects can have conversations and tell humans what to do.
These robot-computers have been plotting their take-over for a while I think. Just look at the facts, have you ever played a game on the computer against the computer. The computer wins most of the time. (Hopefully that's not just me). And pretty soon, the computer will win more than online chess-just you wait. We're only decades away from an Eagle Eye/Wall-E takeover.
It secretly brings me an odd sense of comfort when spell-check gets words wrong because then I know that computers aren't as smart as I am. And that makes me feel good. Because I don't want to be ruled by a tyrannical computer anytime soon.
Haha Cassie I love you so much! You're way too cute :)
