nightmares.

Saturday night I watched the most terrifying movie ever, in the whole wide world. I'm not even exaggerating. "The Woman in Black" is a movie that I had heard people talk about in high-pitched tones as they become more and more afraid even from just discussing the movie.

Well, I finally caved and watched the horror movie with some of my good friends. I usually watch one scary movie a year, then I remember I hate them and I don't watch for another year, or until I forget about my loathing of the horror films.

It's absolutely terrifying. There were times I thought I would weep from utter fear and other times I just hid under a blanket because I couldn't take it anymore. I plugged my ears more than once and screamed at almost every noise. One time, at the scariest of moments, I shrieked and slammed my head down to hide under my blanket. Little did I know my friend's knee was right where my head was going to be. I ended up slicing my lip. The blood in my mouth gave a nice effect to the rest of the movie though, I think.

I know I'm verging on adulthood, but I still sleep with my hall light on. And since this movie, I haven't slept in my own room since. In fact, I've slept in my mom's bed the past two nights. This is a movie that will make you rethink your security and doubt your ability to stay home alone ever again.
