pictures.

I got my senior pictures taken last week.

Getting your pictures taken is weird. I mean, you sit there smiling as someone walks around every angle of you snapping a photo.

But the weirdest part is all of the compliments you receive from the photographer. I think I got more compliments in the 40 minutes I was getting my pictures taken than I've ever gotten in the rest of my life combined. No joke. Every time I heard the camera lens shuffle it was, 'so good,' or 'way to smile with your eyes,' or 'yes, yes, yes!' I didn't quite no what to think. Or how to respond.

I think that life should be more like a senior picture session. I mean that in this way, we should have someone following us around, spewing compliments at us for every moment of our lives.

For example, if you're baking cookies.... 'Whisk that batter!' or 'you're the best chef ever!' or 'way to pour in that flour!'

Or if you went on a run.... 'You're Usain Bolt!' or 'you're legs move so fast!' or 'you are the eye of the tiger!'

Or if we were taking a test.... 'Fill in that bubble!' or 'you're Einstein' or 'you're brain is so smart.'

Our lives would be much more effective and cheery if only the weirdness of getting a million compliments per minute was implemented in to our daily lives. That is my deepest desire.
