Les Mis is a production that I've loved with all my heart since I was just a young girl. I love it so much words can't describe my affection for this musical. I get all romantic when I talk about it.

So let's discuss the utter bliss I felt when I discovered they were remaking it in Hollywood. Songs and all. I was overjoyed. Hugh Jackman and Russell Crowe would be starring and I was thrilled.

Then I had my moods switched drastically when I found out that Taylor Swift had been offered the part of Eponine. I fell into fit of rage I fell into (and hopefully you fell into this fury also). I love Taylor Swift, but I love Les Mis more and I don't think that Taylor Swift would make a good Eponine. Not only does Taylor lack the vocal capability to sing such outstanding pieces, she lacks the acting abilities. I mean, did Hollywood not learn their lesson from casting her in "Valentine's Day?"

Also, Amanda Seyfried got offered the role as Cosette. And Anne Hathaway as Fontine. Hopefully I'll be proven wrong and they'll all be great casting decisions and the remake will bring me to tears. If not, I think I'll write a strongly worded letter to Hollywood. (I'll use words like "meany-head" and "jerk-face" because that's as colorful as my language gets.)
