this is the place.

Sometimes I consider moving out of Utah. There are many reasons for this deep consideration.

#1. The weather. The weather is so hormonal, it swings from high to low multiple times a day. Of course, without such crazy weather, I don't know what people would make facebook status' about. (Just go on facebook, there will always be at LEAST one about the weather, guaranteed.)

#2. See number one.

#3. I'm a teenager and I just want to live more than ten minutes away from a family member, which basically rules out living anywhere in Utah. (Don't get me wrong; I really do love my family.)

#4. It would be nice to get a taste of what this "melting pot" everyone is talking about is. I look around and all I see is white. White skin, and thanks to the local beauty shops: nearly white hair on every female in Utah County.

There are more reasons I briefly mull over the idea of moving away, (possibly to my favorite state; North Carolina). But then I remember the one thing Utah has that none of the other 50 states have, and it makes adapting to the weather and allowing relatives to pinch my cheeks bearable.

What is the thing, you might ask, that keeps me living happily in the heart of Utah?

Fry sauce.

You can bet your bottom dollar that fry sauce is not only my favorite guilty pleasure, but also what I consider to be the pride and joy of this fine state. We may have the arches and "the best snow on earth," but when it comes down to it, fry sauce is the best thing about Utah. No doubt.
