Super bleeding.
Today, I donated blood for the very first time ever. It was really scary, but turned out to not be as bad as I thought it would be. And I discovered that I am a super-bleeder. It only took me 4 minutes and 27 seconds; my new record. So now, on my resume we can add "super fast bleeder." Cheryl (my phlebologist) was very impressed with the speed of my blood flow. The third best part of donating was wearing the hot pink tape, the second best was drinking capri suns for free and the first best was talking to the cute boy who gave blood after me. How romantic. He too was impressed by my expert bleeding abilities, and I was impressed by his arm muscles, so it was an all around good thing.
And note to self: don't go to the first day of lacrosse conditioning right after losing a pint of your total ten pints of blood. You'll be weak and feel faint, but not want to look like a pansy in front of your lacrosse mates, (especially when it's your first day so they're forming their impression of you) and you'll end up being horribly embarassed.
dear cassie. your toooo cute.
ReplyDeleteoh, i understand.
ReplyDeleteBecca told us the other day that she would never let us play a game the same day you get your blood taken.
