Due to a recent study, everybody on facebook is connected between 4.7 other people on average. This means, on average, that a friend of a eskimo living in Lithuania's friend is a friend of your friend.
Did that make any sense?
Let me explain via diagram:
If you feel creeped out right now, don't worry, it'll pass. And when the creeped out feeling does pass, you'll be left feeling really popular. Or at least that's how I felt when I discovered this piece of news. I mean, we're just four friends away from being friends with the entire world population. That's how I look at it anyways. And looking at it like that is a big self-esteem booster.
So next time you feel friendless just remember that Lithuanian eskimo that you're basically friends with and you won't feel so alone.

you - your friend - your friend's friend - their friend - their friend - Lithuanian Eskimo.
